Nu på söndag hade vi som vanligt tänkt spela golf med Beijing Golfers. Tyvärr gick detta om intet, då tävlingen blivit inställd. Följande mail har skickats ut:

Dear golfers,

This Sunday’s event at Jinghua has been CANCELLED.

As part of the continuing efforts to enhance security for the upcoming Olympics, the Beijing government has instituted new restrictions on travel into the city that are creating delays of over three hours for documentation and automobile inspections. The rules and requirements are not well known or documented. In the interest of our members, we have cancelled the event this Sunday so as to prevent any unexpected problems trying to return to the city after the tournament.

We will be investigating the situation and hope to be able to get formal clarification on the regulations and document requirements and will email the information to the membership. As soon as we understand the rulings we will resume the weekly tournaments. Please bear with us as we investigate this.
