Bokafton

Sweden's two most seasoned China writers, share their rich experiences. Following this year's National Day parade they focus on events since 1966 related to Tiananmen Square. They will also introduce their latest book "Kina den haltande kolossen".

Agneta Engqvist is the China correspondent of Dagens Industri and has spent 25 years in the country. She has been reporting on all sectors of Chinese society for a number of Nordic papers. With Leijonhufvud she also co-wrote the critically acclaimed books "Kineserna" and "Draken vaknar".

Göran Leijonhufvud is a writer and researcher. He was the China correspondent of Dagens Nyheter for many years and has been reporting on the country since the start of the Cultural Revolution. Recently, he has been researching village elections as well as the Internet in China.
